When it comes to the behavioral effects of violent video games it can go one of two ways where one of them is a pro-social effect and the other being an anti-social effect. Focusing on the anti-social effects that certain individuals obtain after playing a specific amount of violent video games, anti-social behavior is the lack of care for others well-being where in this case the well-being of those within a video game. Based on the effects that anti-social behavior has on people, I hope to give a quick synopsis of what factors lead an individual to being anti-social and what happens when they exhibit that type of behavior.

When individuals are playing violent video games, the anti-social behavior that people exhibit is because of the actions that they make in game. For instance, the action of killing other people in game has an anti-social effect that makes those people more against social interaction. So depending on what the player decides to do in-game has an effect on how they react while playing violent video games and interacting with others whether it be in game or in real life. However, the effects of playing such games on subsequent aggression are indeed inconsistent, then it is important to identify factors that might reduce the effect of violent video games on aggressive and anti-social behavior.

Considering the evidence gathered, anti-social behavior may occur more often than not, but there are certain people who deal with anti-social behavioral problems. Also, exhibiting aggressive behavior increases the chances of becoming anti-social, so making sure you keep away from constant killing in-game to prevent yourself from going down that path. The suggestion would be to distance yourself from secluding yourself from your peers when you are playing violent video games and to be more for surrounding yourself with those friends or peers to prevent future anti-social problems.
